You don’t know about me!
Some of the funniest things that kids say are their responses to being corrected, admonished or given an instruction to stop a negative behavior. You can’t laugh, because they’re in trouble, but that little twinge of anger and powerlessness evokes some…unusual responses.
For example, this one from Yoshi when I told him for about the 7th time that it was time to go and he had to stop playing. He shot back with this little dose of defiant braggadocio, which of course made me think of one thing and one thing only:
