Manny the Manny
I am a male nanny ("manny") with 11+ years of experience in taking care of children, as well as training parents and other caregivers. I enjoy everything about children, especially when they share their chocolate milk with me. Most importantly, I'm here to help. Ask me a question or send me an email.
Throughout my post, you will see me make mention of two names quite often — Yoshi & Salvador.
These are the two children of the family I manny for. As you may have gathered — or read in my About page — these are not their real names. Instead, I have given them pseudonyms in order to protect the family’s privacy.
Yoshi is the younger brother. He turns 5 this fall and will be starting kindergarten. He’s the usual source for my “Kid Kwotes” segment. His mom and I are crossing our fingers, hoping he’s finally over his “Power Rangers” phase.
Salvador is the big brother, having just turned 10 this summer. He’ll be heading into 5th grade and is starting to come into his own as a big brother.
